Christian:
-Comfort/Outfitting: Prijon outfitted the Performance with the basic outfitting from years ago. It takes a while to get used to the posture the boat requires because you don't feel like you are sitting all the way inside the cockpit. As a result, I would never want to paddle big water in this boat for fear that I'd fall out every time I flipped over.
-Stability: My posture in the boat didn't really encourage aggressive paddling. I felt a little top-heavy. But the edges are nice, pretty forgiving.
-River-running: The Performance is very fast for its length and well suited for attaining eddies. But its ends are narrow, so I wouldn't feel comfortable running anything steep.
-Playboating/Surfing: It's fast, so it can catch some pretty fast waves, but once you're on them, that's all you'll be able to do-no spinning, back surfing, or blunting.
Veronica:
-Comfort/Outfitting: Didn't like it from the get-go. I immediately felt unstable.
-Stability: I felt like I was always going to flip. I did twice, and swam both times.
-River-running: It was fast and it could catch eddies pretty well. But I wouldn't know how they felt since I traded in this boat for an inflatable kayak halfway down the river.
-Playboating/Surfing: Surfing makes me swim.
Rob:
-Comfort/Outfitting: I had plenty of room for my feet and I liked that. I was comfortable in the seat. I would eat in that boat if I could.
-Stability: Although it's not the most stable boat, I felt confident running rapids in it.
-River-running: I think after getting used to the boat, I would be comfortable running a big river in it. But I don't think it's a beginner boat.
-Playboating/Surfing: It's not a playboat, so don't expect to make many moves.
