Mile after mile of tropical waters in every shade of blue convince the author to heed the advice from locals: "Don't worry, be happy" as he sets out on a sea kayak trip.
UNDERSTANDING THE BOATS OF LEWIS AND CLARK
Retrace the steps, and paddle strokes, of the 1803 Corps of Discovery. The author's two-year project entailed traveling to 10 states and photographing historical reenactments that included full-scale models of the various boats used by the Lewis and Clark expedition.
