It's time to clean out the photo album from last years paddling trip. Enter the Canoe & Kayak on line paddling contest and win great prizes.

The categories are whitewater and flatwater. Any type of boat can be used - kayaks, rafts, inflatables, fishing kayaks or canoes.

HOW TO ENTER
Send us your best shot in digital format. Please send all photos in jpg format, 72dpi at 800 pixels on the larger side. If you need help you can got to www.shrinkpictures.com

Photos can be color or black and white. Please, No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this contest. Digital entries only.

The photograph need not be taken with a digital camera; scans of negatives, transparencies or photographic prints are acceptable.

There is no cost to submit a photo and there is a limit of 10 photos per contestant.

ENTRY DATES All entries must be submitted and received by MARCH 31, 2008 at 11:59pm EST. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.

PRIZES
First prize in each category will be an Accent Kayak Paddle. A whitewater paddle will be awarded for the winner in the whitewater category and a sea kayak paddle in the flatwater category.

Second Prize will be a Cascade Designs Baja Deckbag for the flatwater category and a Gath Gedi Helmet with peak visor in winners choice size and color for the whitewater winner.

Third Prize will be a pair of Kavu Sunglasses for each category.

In addition there will be one year subscription to Canoe & Kayak magazine to 3 runners up in each category.

JUDGING
Winners will be chosen by the editors of Canoe & Kayak magazine.

CONDITIONS FOR USAGE
This Contest is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Contest entrant. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the photograph.

Entries must be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry.

Photos may be used without payment by Canoe & Kayak on the Canoe & Kayak website at the editor's discretion for a period of up to one year from contests closing. Copyright of images is retained by the contestant submitting the photograph and the contestants copyright information will accompany any usage of the image.

No prize transfer, assignment or substitution by winners permitted. If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, the Sponsor, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the original prize (or that part of the prize) with an alternative prize to the equal monetary value and/or specification, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.

The decisions of the Judges are final and binding with respect to all matters relating to the Contest.
