Giddens Wins Women's Title
Sept. 20 One month after winning the Silver Medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, Rebecca Giddens was at it again on her 27th birthday Sept. 19, winning the women’s kayak class at the Whitewater Slalom National Championships.

Giddens Heads to Semi Finals
Aug. 17 - Rebecca Giddens placed fifth in the women's K-1 slalom canoe/kayak qualifying race Tuesday and will advance to the semifinals Wednesday. Semifinals may be broadcast live on NBC starting around 12:35 a.m. Eastern time, or 9:35 p.m. Tuesday Pacific time.
