Tom Derrer began building whitewater kayaks for himself and friends in the late sixties, and opened Eddyline in 1971 in Boulder, Colorado. In 1973 he moved the tiny company to Seattle and began building kayaks designed by Werner Furrer Sr., during which time he became involved with Sea Kayaking, then in its very infancy. This video is the story of one of the Pacific Northwest's leading innovative kayak manufacturers - Eddyline Kayaks. Note: this is a 7 minute video clip of large file size. |
