I'm in awe. The minimalist nature of the film, combined with its subject, is deeply moving. Thanks, Sean!

Beautiful film. Respect both for the man in the kayak and the man behind the camera. The essence.

Awesome piece ! Shows how good it feels to take part in the earth's natural wonder. The thrill is addicting freedom for people of all capabilities.

WOW !! That was inspiring. It did concern me also about no PFD. I will be less agitated the next time I feel like complaining about having to put my kayak on top of my car, getting it off, and putting it back on. Great story. Thanks

I have watched this video with my morning cup of coffee a few mornings in a row now. I hate sand.. I only kayak in calm waters, and I need a PDF. My soul could benefit from sitting and having that morning cup of coffee with this kayaker.. I'm training for a marathon right now (cross-training in my kayak!) and I'm a middle aged woman. This video has improved my strength. Thank you so much..

When ever I start looking for an excuse not to paddle, I will remember this video. I had tears in my eyes as I watched. Tears inspired by both joy and sadness, but tears mostly of pride. I am proud to be one of the brother and sisterhood of paddlers. Thank you Sean.

Great film. It captures the essence of why we paddle. It goes beyond our abilities or limitations. It allows us to be free and does not ask questions or have expectations. It is just the love of the sport and the connection with the world around us and who we are that makes paddling so unique. Our limitations are only what we think they are and as this film shows, we are all capable of much more than we think if we persevere.

This video is so inspirational and moving...I was absolutely moved to tears. We have no excuse for not seeking out, taking hold of and being who we're meant to be. THAT is our birthright!

We all take things for granted. What is effortless to me is a struggle for someone else. Understanding that puts the gifts I have been given into perspective and fills me with gratitude.
